2012 Jaguar XFR
2012 Jaguar XFR
Wow, this car is an amazing head turner! Wherever I go someone comments on how great looking this car is. I happen to agree and since they are selling a ton of them, other people agree also.
For 2012, the XF and the XFR received changes inside and out to bring it in line with the XJ flagship. The things you notice first are the signature “J-Blade” LED running light trim. There are changes to the front and rear valances that make it more readily identified as all Jaguar. As much as I like the XF, my test vehicle was the amazing XFR. The “R” designation tells you that this Jag is “ready to race” with its upgraded suspension, brakes, and 510 hp V8. To drive a luxury sedan that has a 0-60 time of 4.7 seconds is something that every Gearhead should experience. Of course, Jaguar didn’t skimp any in the interior. It is every bit as amazing as its performance. First thing that stands out is the Bowers and Wilkins 1200 watt sound system. Next would be the comfortable heated and cooled seats. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is, get one of these if you can afford it. I will “gush” more about this car on the show Saturday. MH
